Jesus said our purpose is to love God with everything we’ve got and to love others as much as we love ourselves. Sounds pretty good, eh? But what if you’re still figuring out who God is and who you are? Our youth ministries exist to discover who God is and who we are created to be and to help others take the next step on this journey. We’ve got a bunch of great events to help you do that, but we’ve got an even better community where you can belong as we take this journey together. We’d love to have you join us!

Friday

Well, on Friday night For all youth grades 6-12, we meet at the church from 6:30-9:30 unless we tell youotherwise. We’ll usually hang out for a bit, play some games, and have some fun and camaraderie. We also will have a time of Bible Study to learn more from God’s Word. Life is better when lived together which is why these events are simply geared for fun and hanging out as we live life together.

Tuesday

Quizzing is an amazing program on Tuesday nights from 6:30-9:00 that helps youth from grades 7-12 who want to memorize and understand the Bible. God says the Bible is his word to you that will teach you who he is and who you are and we love seeing youth who are passionate about what God’s Word has to say and who want to have it make a difference in their lives. Each week, we’ll have a study that goes a little deeper as well as a chance to memorize and discuss that portion of the Bible. There are also opportunities to compete against each other and hundreds of other youth from all across Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Ontario several weekends a year in an environment that helps you grow in your relationship with both God and others. This year, we will be studying Hebrews and 1 and 2 Peter.

These events are carefully planned and supervised by the Youth Ministries Leadership Team. All of our volunteers are trained and screened according to our church’s Plan to Protect Policy.

Kidz Konnection is our exciting, alternative to traditional Sunday School! Here, children can worship in a manner that is specifically geared for their level of understanding. It’s kid-friendly and full of fun! Our objective is to teach children that God really wants to be a part of their everyday life. We want to encourage children from our community while teaching them valuable moral and life lessons using the Bible. We provide them with a safe environment and dynamic leaders who really care about them.

Every Sunday morning throughout the school year, the children are dismissed during the Worship Service!
